What do we aim to do?
Through Argyle Community Fitness & Weapons Down Wirral CIC we are hoping to bring together lived experience and professional expertise, to offer community-driven solutions to reduce crime and violence for Wirral.

Community Engagement
Working closely with local organisations to provide sessions for their clients.

Empowering People
Building safer communities by empowering people of all ages, to make positive choices.

Transforming Lives
Transforming lives by sharing impactful, lived experiences that resonates with the youth.

Role Models
Creating a safe haven with good role models to young people.

Positive Impact
Leaving a lasting impact on peoples outlook, their self esteem and improved fitness.
Workshops & Sessions
The primary focus for us would be to work with young people residing in Birkenhead and the surrounding areas.
Young people can lack positive, meaningful relationships in their lives, and many may also have autistic spectrum disorder or ADHD. They all have the potential to, or will already, be engaged with the criminal justice system. Our hope is to improve their, and their communities, prospects with workshops, sessions & training in our community gym.
Community Involvement
At Argyle Community Fitness, we’re proud to be more than just a boxing gym. Through our ongoing community work, we support local young people and promote mental wellbeing.
These programmes are made possible through partnerships and collaboration with local organisations and the support of local businesses, these are part of our commitment to building a safer community and creating real change beyond the ring.

We’re proud to be a member of the Family Toolbox on Wirral.
